    On the eve of the Vitafoods Asia expo in Hong Kong, one of the premier events for the global complementary medicines industry, Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA) has welcomed the latest AusTrade data that shows Australian complementary medicines exports to Asia have more than doubled in the last year.

    Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA) today welcomed the announcement of three new complementary medicine scholarships by the National Institute of Complementary Medicine (NICM) in partnership with the Blackmores Institute, with the aim of further building on the research base for nutritional and herbal medicines to better inform and guide clinicians, health professionals, policy makers and consumers.

    Mr Carl Gibson, Chief Executive Officer of Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA), has welcomed results from a report by US-based market research group Persistence Market Research, which predicts growth in the global vitamin supplements market between 2014 and 2020 at a calculated annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.8%.
