In its pre-Budget submission, Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA) has welcomed the Government’s continued focus on improving Australia’s competitiveness via removal of burdensome regulatory red tape. This includes the Medicines and Medical Devices Regulation (MMDR) reforms that aim to ease regulatory requirements where they do little to improve consumer protection but are a barrier to business.
